SCHOLARSHIPS
Basin Electric Power Cooperative and Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association Inc., are once again offering a $1,000 and two $500 collage scholarships, respectively. The scholarships are for the 2026 school year.
Applications for the scholarships must be United States citizens and the dependents of Roosevelt Public Power District employees or consumers. Applicants also must be students enrolled or planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate or graduate course of study at an accredited, two year or four- year college, university or vocational/technical school.
Scholarship information will include: SAT/ACT scores and overall grade point average, work experience, participation in school and community activities, a personal statement of career goals, applicant appraisal and an essay question.
Roosevelt PPD will be awarding $2,000 scholarships for the Lineman Scholarship. This is for students attending a Power Line School.
All applications are due back in our office by February 17, 2026. Not the date listed on the application.
Attached are two different application forms, one for the linemen school and the other is the Basin & Tri-State application, you can either print them off from here or come by our office to pick them up.
